A star in the making - Jont is a tremendously original and gifted writer, and a charasmatic performer who really shines at house gigs as well as on the big stage. He played at the BBC Electric Proms, who described his music as "so irresistibly lovely, it makes you want to hug strangers on the street" - his new album is out on the 5th May.

"I used to write a lot of poetry and get it published. I also travelled around the U.S.A. interviewing poets like Ginsberg. I became sick of the fact that no-one understood what I was doing, so I concentrated on putting my poetry into songs."
