Number 9 of a special Large Paper Edition limited to 100 copies in this binding and with the plates on Japan Paper, parchment a little marked and some minor foxing as is usual. Originally printed in 1814 this is a most desirable item: plate 3 is of particular interest being the first representatin of a steam engine on rails - it was built by Murray & Blenkinsop at Leeds in 1812, about two years before Stephenson's engine & it was used from 1812 until 1833.
